For clinical laboratory leaders

Turn one current SOP into training your team can use.

Bion Med helps clinical laboratories turn a current SOP into reviewed learning materials, or organize a confirmed records gap within the systems they already use.

Start with one site, one system and one named test or procedure.

Where we can help

Choose one task that needs attention.

The first conversation looks at your actual workflow and available tools. We identify whether a small project would be useful.

A current SOP needs training materials.

Your team owns the procedure, but needs help turning it into a concise, reviewed learning module.

Evidence is difficult to retrieve.

You want clearer links between people, SOP versions, training completion and practical assessment evidence.

An existing platform needs implementation work.

The software may already support the task. The need may be content production, configuration or a more usable handoff.

Two ways to start

A bounded first project, with an agreed output.

Route A · Records workflow

Make an agreed evidence workflow easier to run.

For a confirmed gap in record organization, dates or retrieval.

  • Review the current system and identify the source of truth.
  • Agree evidence fields, laboratory-approved date rules and ownership.
  • Configure the contracted views and reminder path where supported.
  • Test the agreed output and hand over instructions.

Route B · SOP training + handoff

Turn one SOP into reviewed training.

For a laboratory that needs help producing and handing over its own procedure-based content.

  • One SOP revision and a video of up to five minutes.
  • 7–10 knowledge questions before training and 7–10 after training.
  • A labelled training completion record and a defined handoff.
  • Two consolidated laboratory review rounds.

The first scope covers one site, one system, one named test or procedure and up to ten testing personnel. Route B uses the agreed records workflow; a full Route A implementation is quoted separately if needed.

How it works

From one workflow conversation to a usable handover.

Your team approves the technical content and the operating rules. Bion Med manages the contracted production and documentation work.

Understand

A free 30-minute call about one process, your systems and the task you want to improve.

Define

A short written workflow map, followed by a scoped proposal when a project is useful.

Build and review

Produce the selected route with a named laboratory reviewer and consolidated feedback.

Test and hand over

Check the agreed output, obtain written acceptance and hand over the contracted assets and instructions.

Clear ownership

Content and workflow support, with laboratory control.

The agreed project supports your existing quality process. Your laboratory retains technical approval, practical competency assessment and staff authorization.

Bion Med prepares

The contracted learning materials, record structure, handoff and operating instructions.

Your laboratory decides

SOP accuracy, assessor eligibility, practical assessment results, applicable date rules and authorization to perform testing.

The service does not award accreditation, certify personnel competency or guarantee an inspection outcome.

Before we speak

Practical questions.

Do we need a new LMS or tracker?

We first check the tools and workflow you already use. A new tracker is considered only when an agreed gap remains. Any import, export or integration is scoped and tested in your actual licensed environment.

What does the first project cover?

One laboratory site, one named system, one named test or procedure, and up to ten testing personnel. The SOP route covers one SOP revision, a video of up to five minutes, 7–10 entry and 7–10 exit knowledge questions, and two consolidated review rounds. Additional sites, tests or modules are scoped separately.

Does completing a course establish competency?

Training completion and practical competency assessment are kept separate. Your laboratory selects qualified assessors, performs and evaluates the practical assessments, and decides staff authorization. Bion Med prepares the agreed content and documentation workflow.

How are confidential materials handled?

Do not send SOP files, staff records or patient information through the public inquiry form. Before materials or access are shared, we agree the permitted data, tools, access and storage arrangements with your laboratory. Demonstrations use fictional data.

How are fees and delivery dates agreed?

After the workflow conversation, you receive a written proposal defining the selected route, deliverables, fee, payment terms, review rounds and acceptance criteria. Delivery dates are agreed around complete inputs, approved access and laboratory review availability.

What will we receive at handover?

The contracted training or records materials, the agreed source or editable assets, instructions for the selected workflow, and a handover walkthrough. Your team checks the agreed output before accepting the work.

Can we see an example first?

Yes. The fictional example shows how SOP training completion can be linked to a visible list of missing practical evidence. It contains no real laboratory or employee records and is not a client case study.

We will discuss how it works today, what your existing tools can do and whether a small, clearly scoped project would help.

Please do not send SOP files, staff records or patient information with your initial inquiry. Confidential materials and access are agreed separately.

A useful first conversation

  • Your role and the laboratory process.
  • The system and records your team uses today.
  • A current SOP, onboarding task or revision need.
  • Who would review the content and approve the project.

You receive a short written workflow map after the call. Any proposed project has a separately agreed scope, fee, timeline and acceptance criteria.
